I wonder if Fritzi will just be an oversized Mini, like you said Rocket is... cause I'm thinking he'll probably end up about the same size, like 25-30lbs or so, since he's 7mos and 20lbs now. Guess i'll see... By the way I looked at your blog, yuki + rocket, it's awesome! Great photos. Fritzi really looks like Rocket, too, though Fritzi's coat is kind of more brown than grey-black.

Bisi reached his full size  by 8 months, and then filled out more in the chest - he was all the way done by a year and a half.  As far as mellowing?  He is 8.  And not yet mellowed.  I'll let you know when it happens.

Suki was 8 months old when I got her and was about 13 inches tall at shoulder height and weighed just under 14 pounds.  Her breeder told me that she would grow "a little more."

Now she's a year and four months old.  When I can get her to stand still long enough to try to get a measuring stick up next to her she appears to be approx. 14 inches at shoulder height.  Last time I took her to the vet she weighed in at 15.9 lbs.  So -- between 8 months and a year and a half she grew about an inch taller and put on about 2 pounds.  I don't think she's going to grow anymore and at this point I watch her food intake to make sure I'm not overfeeding her.  She's very compact and muscular -- a strong little girl!!  Looks like a little sausage.

I guess it's different with each dog. Like us human, we're all different!

Sushi stopped growing at around 8 months. Now she's 1 year old and we can already see a big difference energy wise. She still has a lot of energy, and she's still very active, but something changed in her the last few months. She seems a lot much calmer, less hyper. Which is fine with me .

Beatrix is almost 4 months old and is really really tiny height wise, l would say the size of a yorkie. I was curious to know when they stop growing taller. Our vet told me she could end up staying small because she grew so much in such a short amount of time. That it could have been her growth spurt. I know big dogs can grow 2-3 years but I think I read somewhere small breed dogs are much quicker.

Different "lines" will show some variation, but in general I think that they stop growing height wise by about 7 months. They will continue to fill out after that.  Tiffee is almost 8 months old and she has been holding at 13 1/2 inches for about a month.  She is still kind of gangly looking after her final growth spurt so I am expecting her to fill out over the next several months. I think Levi hit his maximum height at about the same age, but Eli kept growing until he was over a year old.

Barney seemed to stop growing in height at around 7 months. He's put about 2lbs on in weight since then filling out, but is still quite skinny compared to some still got some filling out to do I think.

On top of each other standing up. She's maybe a little longer then she is tall. She's very squarely built. She won't hold still or I'd try to take a picture of her with them so you could see lol.

That would make her about 10 inches tall (I think)
That sounds about right for her age.  I doubt whether she is done growing.  She still has more surprises for you

Okay. I figure the bigger she is the better! I won't have to worry about her getting hurt as much. I had three huge dogs run at me yesterday while I was carrying her out of the car. It was a large boxer mix, Saint Bernard, and a bulldog mix. I'm glad dogs don't scare me! They were doing that circle thing. I was prepared to knee them in the chest if they jumped at Bea. She was growling at the Saint Bernard like crazy. I would rather her be bigger then smaller. Most people where I live don't tie their dogs when they are out, they let them roam.
