This is Jack.  He is approximately 2 years old and an absolute sweetheart.  He was really skittish when he first arrived here but he has relaxed now and is a wonderful dog.  Jack has excellent house manners.

Jack needs a new forever home where his new people have the time to work with him.  Jack is not leash trained.  He gets along great with other medium sized to smaller dogs.  I was told he is OK with cats and that he is afraid of larger dogs.  He gets along with children over 3 years old as long as they are well behaved.  Jack has a lot of love to give.  Our preference would be a family with someone who is home most of the time.  Jack is crate trained.  Jack has just been neutered, wormed, had his teeth cleaned and is current on all of his shots.

Jack was very sensitive around his back end and feet but in working with him he has gotten much better.  Whoever grooms him must have a bit of patience in the beginning until he learns he can trust you.  He may have been abused by a groomer at one time.
