Finally got around to uploading some Lotte pictures taken over the past month. Enjoy!

That's Floyd the turtle. I let Lotte borrow him, until she put a hole in his shell. Oh well. It was cute while it lasted.

Her vantage point, to watch me when I go in the kitchen.

The ever classic stalking pose. I have so many pictures of the cat doing the exact same thing.

Typical little kid.. making faces at the camera!

You can kind of see the new collar I got her for walking. It's a chain martingale with a quick release. You can't tell, but it has a cherry print pattern on it. I like it because she isn't choking herself on it like she was on the regular collar, and I have it sized so that it can't get any tighter than her regular collar. It actually is making a difference... maybe because it's a lot easier to tell when the leash is loose with it.

Not a good picture (had to zoom in quite a bit and then crop it), but it's one of the few, rare action shots I was able to get before she ran out of the camera frame!

Wrapping paper roll is better than toilet paper roll, according to Lotte. I tried, but wasn't able to, get a picture of her carrying it (she managed!). It was the cutest/silliest thing...  Devil

She needs a haircut.... her tail is actually a lot smaller than it appears. That's mostly a long tuft of fur.

Somebody wants a bellyrub...

And, finish! (For now  Devil I have a lot more on the other computer.)

She is such a cute little girl. She looks like she is really growing, her legs look so long in the first picture.
I like the last picture, Jetson loves to lay on his back too.

I see part of one front leg has been shaved in a few pictures, did she have something done ? I am so sorry if I forgot something or missed something about her. I have to say my memory is pure crappola by the way.

Lotte says thank you everyone for the compliments.
I'm still convinced that her tail was docked too short, even though I do like it, as it does add character. Either that, or she's part  Rabbit.

Debbie: It was shaved when I took her to be spayed, two weeks ago. You didn't miss anything - I think I only mentioned it in a reply in one thread. I'm affectionately referring to it as her "poodle leg" (and hoping that it doesn't screw up how her furnishings grow out).

Here hair should grow out just fine. Is she all healed up, must be, from being spayed. Isn't it a nice feeling to have that out of the way, I was glad when we had Jetson neutered and he went through that just fine and dandy.

Yup  Smiley She was back to her normal self the day after, and we spent some very long and frustrating 10 days limiting her activity until the vet gave us the OK to resume regular activity. Thank goodness too, because she was turning into a little terror with no outlet for her energy.

Unfortunately, now that she's able to be out on walks again, the weather took a turn from nice and tolerable to so hot and humid that you can hardly breathe outside from about 930 in morning, on to either after the sun starts settling, or the storm clouds roll in. I'm making it work though... got two weeks to refine her leash manners as best we can before we pack off for school.

On the bright side though, she's going to have one very active social life. After I get settled with classes, we're going to pick up again with obedience classes. Plus, a couple of my friends have dogs, and several of my friends in the theatre are already insisting that I bring her around often. On my list of things to buy is a 50' lead so that we can play in the field by the theatre without worry about her getting away... and to really work on her recall. Also want to see if I can teach her to actually catch a frisbee. There are also several state parks/springs only minutes away from campus (and maybe we'll actually do camping trips again this year). Anyway, I don't mean to be rambling on. I'm just very excited (it's enough to make me wish I wasn't a senior this year!)  Cool
